The ACD Group employs approximately 340 people in total and consists of the companies ACD Elektronik GmbH in Achstetten near Ulm, ACD Systemtechnik GmbH and ACD Antriebstechnik GmbH in Neustadt (Orla) as well as ACD Datentechnik in Grabs, Switzerland.


ACD Elektronik was established in 1976, ACD Systemtechnik in 1991 and ACD Antriebstechnik in 1996.

 

Our focal areas are

 

Automation

The area automation and drive technology deals with the automation for engineering industry and plant construction in general and with the programming of complex CNC and robot control units in particular.

 

Computer Technology

Development and production of electronic assemblies for customer’s orders or ACD products are the main task of this area.

 

Data Technology

Development, production and sales of mobile data acquisition terminals are the catchwords of this area. The ACD group offers it’s clients WLAN supported handheld terminals and truck terminals.

Our clients come from the business areas of general engineering industry, special machinery and plant construction, equipment manufacturing, automotive industry, trade, stock management, transport and logistic.
