ACD is a European group of companys that provides hard- and software solutions from one source. In our divisions mobile data acquisition, customer-spezific control panels and industrial terminals, automation and electronic manufacturing services, ACD is producer and service provider at the same time.
Today's ACD Group consists of the companys ACD Elektronik GmbH, ACD Systemtechnik GmbH and ACD Antriebstechnik GmbH zusammen and is situated on two locations in Germany. ACD Elektronik GmbH was founded in the year 1976 in Achstetten near Ulm by Karl-Heinz Andes, Johann Bolkart and Fritz Guther. ACD Systemtechnik GmbH with its location in Neustadt (Orla) was founded 15 years later (5th December 1991) by the directors of ACD Eletronik GmbH and Hartmut Wengel. The foundation of ACD Antriebstechnik occured 1996 in Neustadt (Orla).
The Group engages approximately 340 employees and its turnover is about 60,5 millions Euro.
