Thanks to a sturdy aluminum housing, they are equally at home in harsh industrial environments and at temperatures as low as -30 °C, for example, in deep-freeze warehouses. They are adequately protected against the ingress of dust, water and even knocks cannot harm them. To ensure smooth and trouble-free operation of the vehicle mount terminals, they are equipped with a powerful Apollo Lake processor and have optimum roaming properties.
We are constantly striving to improve our products, which is why we regularly make adjustments to our freezer-compatible vehicle mount terminals and optimize them on an ongoing basis. In the recent past, we have already given the MFT10SE an anti-reflective touchscreen film, thus significantly improving the readability of the display. In addition, a new interface cover has been fitted to the entire MFT1xSE series, which has greatly simplified the installation of the devices. As part of this adjustment, we have also optimized the cable fixation, thus reducing the risk of assembly errors to a minimum.
The latest improvement we have made to our MFT1xSE vehicle mount terminals is the installation of a Wi-Fi6E radio card. The new wireless card enables the use of 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz frequency bands, provided the infrastructure already supports them. Wi-Fi6E significantly improves network performance, especially when many devices are used in parallel and access the network at the same time. In addition, Wi-Fi6E enables higher data throughput, ensures improved energy efficiency, and therefore extends the battery life of the vehicle mount terminals. Our new wireless card also supports the use of Bluetooth 5.3, which means that data transfers will be faster, more efficient and use less power.
All vehicle mount terminals in the MFT1xSE series are now supplied with the new wireless card.
