One Year with New SMT Line: Results in Numbers

In February 2025, a new SMT line from ASMPT SMT Solutions was installed at ACD Czech. It replaced our previous line, which had reliably supported our electronics production for several years. This important upgrade enabled us to increase production capacity, streamline our manufacturing processes and improve the overall efficiency of electronics production at ACD Czech. Now, more than one year after the installation, we can evaluate the contribution of the new SMT line based on actual production figures.

During its first twelve months of operation, we:

  • ran 224 different production programs
  • placed a total of 32,908,127 components
  • processed 1,153,538 PCBs on the SMT line

These results demonstrate not only the production volume achieved on the new line, but also its flexibility. The number of different production programs reflects our ability to process a wide range of PCB types and respond to various project and customer requirements.

The positive impact is also reflected in our internal productivity data. Following the ramp-up of the new line, average monthly SMT productivity was approximately 11% higher compared to the corresponding period in 2024. The new SMT line has become an important part of our daily production at ACD Czech. Together with the experience of our production team, it provides a strong foundation for current manufacturing requirements as well as future projects.
