A backhand scanner with a scanning range of up to 14 metres, vehicle mount terminals with a new high-performance processor, a mobile handheld computer with innovative inner workings and a secure Android™ Industrial+ operating system as well as a mobile workstation with optional height adjustability expand ACD’s existing product range. The broad product portfolio includes backhand scanners, mobile workstations, robust mobile handheld computers, pick-by-voice solutions and vehicle mount terminals – so ACD Elektronik GmbH offers everything from a single source. Hands-free scanning now also possible over long distances
Small device, big scanning performance: ACD’s HasciSE backhand scanner is one of the pioneers in the logistics wearables segment. Its light weight, handy design and new scan engine revolutionize the scanning process. The brand new 2D advanced range scanner integrated in the HasciSE, with Zebra’s powerful SE55 scan engine, enables comfortable scanning from 5.6 centimeters to 14 meters away from the object. Reaching for goods is done without having to put the scanner aside, gaining valuable time in the workday. With the product renewal, ACD Elektronik is targeting new areas of application where both a greater scanning range and hands-free working are required.
“When working from a forklift truck – in high-bay warehouses, for example – the ergonomic backhand scanner with a scanning range of over 10 meters proves to be extremely clever, as the vehicle does not have to be left in order to scan goods from a greater distance. But the HasciSE also scores in terms of work safety, as it leaves the operator’s hands free to operate other tools. The scanner, which is conveniently attached to the back of the hand, opens up new possibilities and increases user satisfaction,” reveals Julia Höß, product manager at ACD Elektronik GmbH.
Everything is new in May: Further product innovations from ACD Elektronik
In addition to the new backhand scanner, visitors to the LogiMAT trade fair can look forward to further, new product solutions. In addition to the M270SE Mobile Handheld Computer with a new processor and the secure Android™ Industrial+ 9.0 operating system, with an update option to Android™ Industrial+ 11, the proven, robust ACD vehicle mount terminals are now also available with a new powerful processor.
For the MAX Mobile Workstation, which is used for inventory, incoming goods and shipping tasks, a new product feature offers even more flexibility and ergonomics at the workplace: The Mobile Workstation is now available with electric drive support.
