ACD Elektronik at LogiMat 2024 – More than just “Made in Germany”
ACD Elektronik is part of the owner-managed ACD Group based in southern Germany and develops, produces and sells mobile solutions for logistics and industry. Modular and mobile handheld computers, freezer-compatible vehicle mount terminals, ergonomic wearable barcode scanners and, last but not least, ACD’s mobile workstations make warehouse processes more efficient and work considerably easier. ACD Elektronik products are characterized by a robust and ergonomic design and a wide range of application options.
More than just “Made in Germany”
At ACD, the product takes center stage. All our logistics solutions are developed, produced and distributed within the Group. This enables us to guarantee our customers the highest quality throughout the entire product life cycle. Thanks to the close networking of the various specialist departments within our group of companies, we can provide optimum support for the product. ACD can react quickly to individual customer requests and even develop customer-specific hardware and software products or apps in the Design Center.
Security through location in Germany
Due to advancing digitalization and the increasing risk of cyberattacks, it is of the utmost importance that data flows are seamless and secure throughout a company’s logistics environment. Security is therefore also a top priority when using mobile devices, for example, when picking goods. With the specially developed, secure AndroidTM Industrial+ operating system, we can guarantee the security of data. The entire source code is located on servers of ACD in Germany and regular updates, upgrades and security patches ensure that the operating system can be used over a long period of time.
Innovations from southern Germany
One example of a genuine “Made in Germany” product from ACD is the modular and mobile handheld computer M2Smart®SE. Winner of several innovation and design awards, the full-touch device impresses above all with its flexibility and wide range of possible applications. Thanks to the patented sliding mechanism, different modules such as keyboards, RFID modules or handles can be attached to the handheld without tools. This makes the M2Smart®SE the right device for almost any logistics application. Due to its modularity, it can also be used for several different processes. Furthermore, it is possible to develop individual modules in cooperation with the R&D department and thus adapt the device even more specifically to your own requirements. The M2Smart®SE with capacitive touchscreen is available as a 5-inch device with different imager variants. A 10-inch tablet version is available for picking applications and processes that require a larger display. Naturally, AndroidTM Industrial+ is used for both devices.
For fans of classic handhelds with a large keyboard in an AndroidTM environment, ACD offers the tried-and-tested M270SE. Thanks to the large keys, it can be easily operated with gloves. The M270SE is available with different imagers and the secure AndroidTM Industrial+ operating system.

With the MAX Black Edition, ACD Elektronik has further optimized its largest product family. Not only has the color of the mobile workstations been changed to an elegant black, some components such as the keyboard/mouse extension have also been optimized. The mobile workstations have also been extended with a new base frame including a perforated grid for easy attachment of standard accessories such as pen holders, hooks or magnetic holders. The side columns have also been adapted. These are now equipped with groove profiles, allowing easy attachment of scanner holders etc. using sliding blocks without drilling holes. The brand new electric height adjustment makes ergonomic working a reality throughout the logistics environment. The mobile workstations from ACD Elektronik are also available in various performance classes and with two battery technologies, Li-ion and lead-fleece. The extensive modular system with countless options and accessories as well as the freezer-compatible version for working at temperatures as low as -28 °C round off the portfolio of our tried-and-tested mobile workstations.
The MFT1xSE series vehicle mount termianls and the ergonomic wearable barcode scanners from the HasciSE family are the final additions to the logistics equipment product range. These products are also suitable for use in sub-zero temperatures. The vehicle mount terminals, available in different display sizes, guarantee uninterrupted work in demanding environments. The wearable barcode scanners with short-, mid- or advanced-range imagers enable ergonomic picking, even in frosty environments. Thanks to the extensive product portfolio, the ACD offers the perfect complete solution for food and frozen food logistics, among others.
