M2Smart®SE goes Omlox
Omlox is a committee within the Profibus Association, which has set itself the goal of standardizing indoor positioning. ACD Elektronik has recently become a member of Omlox and supports this initiative, because only open standards make the important topic of indoor positioning applicable for all users. So far, proprietary systems often still prevent adoption.
Our versatile modular M2Smart®SE proved to be predestined for the inclusion of an Omlox tag, so that logistical processes such as barcode scanning can be linked with indoor location. You can follow the live application in the following film. By integrating an Omlox tag into our M2UDK (Universal Developer Kit), we were able to implement a solution for the customer at very short notice.
