The mobile workstation MAX BE is one of ACD Elektronik’s success stories. Thanks to its well thought-out, robust and ergonomic design, it has been making work in the warehouse environment and incoming goods department more efficient for years, making IT equipment mobile and reducing the potential for errors by eliminating travelling times and working directly on the goods. With the MAX Black Edition, ACD Elektronik has further optimised and modernised a very good product.
Not only is the colour of the MAX BE new – an elegant deep black – but some components have also been adapted to changing requirements in the warehouse and goods receiving area, ensuring that the new mobile workstation can be used even more flexibly and efficiently. Among other things, the keyboard/mouse extension has been optimised. This has been fitted under the tabletop of the new MAX BE mobile workstation, providing even more work space. Even when the keyboard/mouse extension is extended, the mobility of the MAX BE mobile workstations will remain unrestricted in future. The models in the MAX BE family have also been updated with a new base frame including a 10 mm x 10 mm hole pattern. Various commercially available accessories such as pen holders, hooks, document holders or magnetic holders can be easily and flexibly attached to this without any additional assembly work. The side collums have also been modified. In the latest models of our mobile workstations, these are equipped with groove profiles, allowing scanner holders etc. to be attached using slot nuts without drilling holes. Another new highlight that will be available as an option for our new mobile workstations in the near future is the electric height adjustment. This allows the MAX BE to be perfectly adjusted to the height of the respective employee, enabling ergonomic working anywhere in the warehouse or goods receiving area.
Proven remains
Of course, we have retained the different performance classes and the two proven battery technologies of lead-fleece and Li-ion in our new MAX BE mobile workstation. This enables us to offer a suitable mobile workstation for every application in warehousing, goods receiving and logistics. Furthermore, there is also a version of our MAX BE for use in deep-freeze areas, the MAX BE TK. This can be used at temperatures as low as -28 °C. The tried-and-tested BWS-R roller battery changing system, which makes it easy to change the battery and thus enables uninterrupted work without intermediate charging, and the MAX BE GO drive unit, which enables fatigue-free working despite heavy IT equipment, are also still available. There is also a wide range of accessories and options for the latest versions of our MAX BE mobile workstation, such as table tops in different sizes, screen holders or printer trays and drawers, so that they can be optimally adapted to individual and customised areas of use.
Upgrade for our PowerBox
As part of the further development of our mobile workstations, our PowerBox PB300 BE Li-Ion has also received an upgrade. In addition to adapting the design from grey to jet black, the performance has been increased and the weight reduced. The improved battery capacity is now 12.8 V/64.8 Ah and at 24 kg, the PB300 BE Li-ion is 4 kg lighter than the previous model. The tried-and-tested carrying system with two side handles, the RCD and the maintenance-free lithium iron phosphate battery have been retained. The new PowerBox PB300 BE Li-ion has the connection options 1x 230 V AC and 2x USB-A (5 V/2.1 A and optionally 1x 24 V DC).
