Never get out of again: Hands-free scanning over long distances
ACD backhand scanner with up to 14 meters scanning range
Easily scan barcodes on goods from a distance of well over 10 meters without having to get out of the forklift? And save time at the same time, because you don’t have to reach for the handheld scanner? With the ergonomic backhand scanner from ACD Elektronik GmbH is this now reality:
Comfortably attached to the back of the hand with low weight and a scanning range of up to 14 meters, work in the warehouse is revolutionized. Barcodes can be scanned quickly and conveniently from the vehicle, “hands-free” and without the hassle of picking up and setting aside a handheld scanner. For the user, maximum scanning comfort and efficient work are guaranteed.
Small device, big performance
ACD’s HasciSE AR backhand scanner is one of the pioneers in the logistics wearables segment. Its light weight, handy design and the new advanced range engine make the scanning process significantly easier. Reaching for goods is done without having to put the scanner aside, gaining valuable time in the daily work routine. The HasciSE AR is therefore ideally suited to areas where “hands-free” work is required. The industrial-grade HasciSE AR is characterized by high robustness and quality, effectively saving costs and minimizing the risk of failure.
Hands-free scanning from a greater distance thanks to advanced range technology
The 2D advanced range imager integrated in the HasciSE AR, with the powerful SE5500 scan engine, enables convenient scanning from a distance of approx. 5 centimeters up to 14 meters from the object. The wearable HasciSE has long proven itself in close-range applications, such as small parts picking. With the product renewal, ACD Elektronik is targeting new areas of application where both, a greater scanning range and hands-free working are required. For example, when working from a forklift in a high-bay warehouse, the HasciSE AR proves to be extremely adept and also scores in terms of occupational safety: both hands remain free to operate other work equipment. Where different devices had to be used in the past, one scanner now fulills all requirements and ensures satisfied employees.
Maximum wearing comfort: lightweight, ergonomic and flexible wearing options
The low weight of 49 g ensures increased wearing comfort. With this weight the HasciSE AR is one of the lightest and smallest wearables in its class. In addition, the HasciSE AR convinces with versatile wearing options, which include hand straps and hand cuffs with trigger or zipper. Ergonomic and adapted to each hand, the matching accessories are available in different sizes, as well as for right- and left-handers. The attachment of the scanner via standard pushbuttons and the consistent basic shape of the device offer decisive advantages: The accessories can be flexibly exchanged, independently of the scanner itself, and adapted to the needs and requirements of the user.
